Cooking a Chilean experience

We Begin our experience in the morning we visit the most iconic areas of Santiago where it has been a historical print of Chilean food Culture like (Barros Lucos, Confiteria Torres and El Rapido in the dowtown), then we will go by foot to one of the most important markets of our country, La Vega, to provide our self of some of the ingredients for our wine pairing experience. Then we go south of Santiago to the main Sea food´s terminal to get the last fresh ingredients and share with real local people. Our cooking experience is going to be done in the Cajón del Maipo area (Andes mountain), where the beautiful scenery will contrast with the flavor of our great wine pairing class.

Our first step is going to introduce you to the wine and food world, therefore you will learn how to distinguish colors, textures and aromas of the wines to be use with the correct food while you taste some of this great samples. Then you will be preparing a couple of Chilean dish with a great view of the magnificent Andes Mountain.

Then a little walk in the foothills of the Andes will help to recharge the energies with nature.

My Historic Food experience let you explore amazing tastes and sights of Santiago's old culinary neighborhoods, markets, some old local restaurant and many off-the-beaten sightseeing. This culinary experience is a delicious and fun way to explore Santiago just like a local. We will visit La Vega Market that is the district famous among Chileans for its diverse local flavors. The area is a true melting pot, where you can find Chilean and more delicacies from various regions, ethnicities and imigrants spices. As we journey along our easy-to-walk route, you will meet and engage with restaurant owners, sample their generations-old artisanal recipes, and visit fascinating local attractions hidden away from major tourist path. Then we will visit downtown and the famous restaurant Fuente Alemana with its amazing legacy of the best Lomitos. We drive by the main gastronomic neiboorhoods like : Bellavista, Latarria,Italian , etc and then we go back to your hotel.
